About New Life Counseling & Wellness Center
We are a multicultural organization that promotes the well-being of individuals, children, youths and families through high quality mental health and social services that are culturally competent such as counseling, support groups, advocacy, and education.
Who can be referred to New Life Counseling & Wellness Center?
We serve children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, depending on the program and eligibility requirements. Age, insurance, and level of need help determine the best program fit.
How do I know which program is the right fit?

Under 21 years old
May be eligible for CBHI services (In‑Home Therapy or Therapeutic Mentoring)
May be eligible for Safe & Stable (DCF referrals only)

Program & Service Definitions (Quick Reference)
Outpatient Therapy (OP):
- Office-based mental health treatment that provides individual, family, couples or group therapy for mild to moderate behavioral health needs.
CBHI - Therapeutic Mentoring (TM):
- A one-to-one, skill-building service that supports youth in developing emotional regulation, social skills, and positive behaviors in home and community settings.
CBHI - In-Home Therapy (IHT):
- A family-focused clinical service delivered in the home to address a youth’s behavioral or emotional needs while strengthening caregiver skills and family functioning.
Community Service Program (CSP):
- A short‑term care coordination service supporting adults with MassHealth by addressing barriers like hospitalization history, housing instability, and difficulty accessing services.
Community Service Program – Justice Involved (CSP-JI):
- A specialized care coordination service for justice-involved adults that supports behavioral health treatment engagement and successful community re-entry.
Safe & Stable Program:
- A DCF-authorized, short-term family stabilization service designed to prevent crisis escalation and support children and families during periods of high stress.
